Victoria J. SchroederVickie received her B.A. in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1977 (Phi Beta Kappa). She graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1980.
She practiced with the law firm of Quarles & Brady from 1980-1991, then opened the Law Office of Victoria J. Schroeder in Delafield. She has been a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys since 1991. She is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Waukesha County Bar Association (former board member). Through the Waukesha County Bar Association, she is a member of the Probate/Estate Planning section (former chairperson) and the Juvenile Law section. She has been a Waukesha County Court Commissioner since 2000. She is a former member of the Waukesha County Estate Planning Council. She has enjoyed working with birth mothers, adoptive parents, and adoption agencies throughout her career, completing over 1,000 adoption cases. |
